Leadership Resources

Leadership Word Collage

Fight Club meetings only work when there are leaders that are prepared to lead. They support and encourage, challenge and coach the members. They work hand-in-hand with men who struggle with relationship challenges like separation, divorce, or marital discontent. Generally, they are laymen who don’t have training as counselors or pastors. In order to address this and prepare our leaders, Fight Club creates leadership resources specifically for their use. Our leadership resources are available to our leaders, at any time, via this limited access page link.

Existing leaders also to review the leadership resources with prospective leaders to ensure their preparedness. Our leaders also make constant use of the principles of S.E.L.F.Ph., our custom lessons, and other tools to assist Fight Club members.

What Makes a Good Fight Club Leader?

Fight Club Leaders are Christian men are called by God to be a Leader in Fight Club, and choose to accept that calling. They recognize and accept both the Biblical responsibilities of a leader, and Fight Club’s leadership expectations. They understand those responsibilities include:

  • Work to honor, uphold, share, and model the teachings of Christ in all their interactions with others.
  • Work with members to identify opportunities to improve their relationship and walk with Christ.
  • Act as an accountability partner and mentor for Members.
  • Work with members, in and out of meetings, to implement the teaching of the Bible, the principles of S.E.L.F.Ph, and other Fight Club lessons and tools.
  • Actively engage as a Fight Club member for the last 6 months.
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (Ephesians 4:11-12 NIV)
